Expert Analysis
Bryan Ault | Prep Redzone Scout
Arnett, who backs up Marushi, scored a crucial touchdown to cap off a 98-yard drive late in the fourth quarter to break the Bearcats’ backs. Arnett, like Marushi, was hard to bring down and runs through contact very well. The sophomore running back has a bright future.

is a player who plays a key role on both sides of the ball for Raceland. On offense, Arnett lines up at receiver where he is a very reliable target. He has great hands and has shown the speed and elusiveness to get up the field and pick up yards after the catch. Jonah is his team’s leading receiver through the first two weeks, catching six passes for 69 yards so far. He also makes an impact on defense, accounting for 10 tackles, one tackle for loss, and an interception so far this season. Jonah doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to watch this season.

, an athlete at Raceland High School. What impresses me about Arnett is his ability to blast into enemy territory from along the edge to get wide open for the deep pass. On the other side of the ball, I like Arnett’s awareness, his ability to read the quarterback and his ability to pick up speed, jumping in front of the ball for the interception.

is a player that stood out to me when watching his freshman year film. On offense, he lines up at receiver where he is an impressive route runner, showing the ability to create separation with the breaks in his routes. He also has the speed to turn up the field to pick up yards after the catch. Arnett finished this past season with eight catches for 96 yards and two touchdowns in nine games. He also played a key role on defense, finishing the year with 17 tackles, two tackles for loss, one interception, and one fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. Jonah doesn’t currently hold any offers but he will be a player to keep an eye on as he continues to develop.
