In the trenches, Jones set the tone for Rock Canyon’s offensive success. His work up front paved the way for a productive ground game, creating lanes that allowed his backs to reach the second level. In pass protection, he was a brick wall, giving his quarterback time to deliver strikes downfield. Offensive linemen often go unnoticed, but Jones’ impact was felt throughout the night as he controlled his assignments and kept the offense moving. If he continues to anchor the line with this level of consistency, he will be a stock riser and a player to track closely this year.
