The 2028 RB class quietly had a great showing as a collective with several rising stars across the state. One back that contributed to that was Ord’s Beau Wells Beau Wells 5'11" | 170 lbs | RB Ord | 2028 State NE who stood out in a stacked backfield and managed to rack up 515 rushing yards with five touchdowns on 77 carries. Wells also showed his versatility with 159 receiving yards, a receiving touchdown, and he even threw for a 35-yard score. Wells really impressed with his vision and ability to find cutback lanes while also having the agility to make those cuts on a dime. Beau is especially dangerous if you allow him to win to the corner where he can then turn on the jets and outrun angles to break off long runs. Wells showed he can fake defenders out, run through them, or run past them. The Chanticleers backfield is looking like one of the best in Class C2 with sophomore Beau looking to build on his frosh campaign.
