Beau sits as our RB3 in this 2028 Nebraska class thus far as an athlete out of Ord that surely shows off his playmaker capability. I got to watch the tape from his Week 1, as Beau showed off his elusiveness and hidden burst that really catches wind along edges of the field. Beau shows off as a north-south runner that favors getting to the outside consistently where he’s able to utilze his balance and straight-line speed on a consistent basis and has really effective pull-away speed. His multi-level athletic abiity also can get the job done in the return game, as Beau for his 6’0 170 pound frame is extremely durable thru contact and that suddeness really takes even more strides in the return game. He’s a four-athlete you surely need to know.
The 2028 RB class quietly had a great showing as a collective with several rising stars across the state. One back that contributed to that was Ord’s Beau WellsBeauWells

who stood out in a stacked backfield and managed to rack up 515 rushing yards with five touchdowns on 77 carries. Wells also showed his versatility with 159 receiving yards, a receiving touchdown, and he even threw for a 35-yard score. Wells really impressed with his vision and ability to find cutback lanes while also having the agility to make those cuts on a dime. Beau is especially dangerous if you allow him to win to the corner where he can then turn on the jets and outrun angles to break off long runs. Wells showed he can fake defenders out, run through them, or run past them. The Chanticleers backfield is looking like one of the best in Class C2 with sophomore Beau looking to build on his frosh campaign.
