Opportunity is knocking for 2028 QB Bear Saab at Lincoln this season. After transferring from Robert C. Byrd, Saab steps into a program with an opening at quarterback and every chance to earn the starting job. The Cougars have built an offense that loves to throw the football around, giving him an ideal opportunity to showcase his arm after waiting for his varsity chance. Replacing a multi-year starter is never easy, but Saab has the potential to keep the offense moving in the right direction. If he settles in quickly, he could be the piece that helps lead Lincoln back into the playoff picture this fall.
