Newton is an underrated program when it comes to developing student-athletes for the next level. That’s why it’s smart to keep an eye on guys coming up through the program, especially the ones showing potential early on. That’s where Hummel fits in. There’s one short video on his Hudl page. On it, we see him intercepting a pair of passes as a safety. He tracks the ball well in the air and breaks on the ball quickly. We’ll see what 2025 brings, but Hummel has a chance to take a big step forward during it.
