Central got their first district win on Friday night when they beat Inola 20-16 and they did so in dramatic fashion. He also accounted for eight tackles and a pair of sacks on the defensive side of the ball. Guess has the size and athleticism to be one of those prospects that finds a way to end up at the next level and once the college coaches get him there, then they figure out where to play him.

Guess is a really good looking athlete and while we primarily watched him on the offensive side of the ball in person, while he was working at tight end, Guess has the ability to be an absolute game-wrecker on the defensive side as a defensive end. Guess is one of two TPS products on this breakdown that we think might be flying under the radar right now but that should change very soon. He looks the part physically, he absolutely flies around the football field and he could end up being one of the better pass-rushing athletes in the state’s 2024 class. And the DL group in this class is incredibly special.

The majority of the prospects on this breakdown are guys that we already knew coming in. Guess is one that we did not and as soon as we saw Central going to work on the offensive side of the ball, we immediately noticed Guess and had to ask who that was because he was hard to miss. In the 6’4-6’5 range, Guess was a match-up nightmare at the tight end position or being flexed out to wide receiver. There were a few prospects on Friday evening that passed the eye test and with some work in the weight room, they can absolutely explode as prospects. Guess is one of those guys for us. We’re interested to see what kind of momentum he can start building towards his recruitment and getting an opportunity to play at the next level.
