Waupaca featured Austin’s rushing abilities heavily in this game, and he responded with a fantastic stat line on the way to a team win. At 6’3″ 190 lbs Austin is an impressively smooth athlete. He is elusive between the tackles hitting cuts and some wildly impressive spin moves to get yards after contact. More teams need to look into the senior because as a passer the kid can whip it. Multiple throws showed off his ability to make the ball explode out of his hands on a rope to WRs so they could catch and run for extra yards. The dual threat has the arm, size, and athleticism to be a difference maker after a couple years.
