How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a thinker. I know how to use my knowledge of the game to help anticipate plays and read the field. I am a quick study and really like learning new plays.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am friendly with everyone. I am often called the Mayor of Medina as I socialize with everyone and want people to feel comfortable. When playing first base, it is not my intent to have the coach or the runner distracted in conversation with me, or maybe it is, but people are just drawn to me. I can turn on the fight though. On the line my job is to fight you in a phone booth!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in many activities. I sing and dance in our competition show choir. I am the President of our church youth group and serve as the youth representative in the North East Ohio Synod Council representing over 100 Lutheran Churches. I am a mentor to 4th and 5th graders and serve as the leader to incoming 9th graders in my high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I give back to my community through all of the organizations that I am a part of. I lead my peers and those younger and older than myself. I spent a week in a National Youth Gathering in New Orleans and saw first hand how my leadership qualities would be put to the test. Being with people whose beliefs and ideals differ from mine, only strengthened my convictions.
