Mr. Yard has been on my radar for some time now and plays on one of the top teams in 5A football here in Illinois. What stands out the most about this young man is his vision. He uses his vision to find running lanes quickly between the tackles and can find cutback lanes in an instance that he hits using his jump cuts. What’s interesting is how he can get skinny through the hole while still lowering his shoulder to run defenders over showcasing his downhill running style. Most prominently, in Week 5 he produces 164 yards off 23 carries for 4 TDs. Twitter
