Ashton Clare Ashton Clare 6'0" | 190 lbs | QB Trinity Christian | 2027 State GA is one of the more underrated prospects in the state of Georgia, and he is by far one of the players I am most excited to see compete in this next season. He is entering one last season of high school ball, following a near 3,000-yard passing season. If he can cut down the interceptions, he will look far more polished, but he is someone who could turn a game upside down in a good way. Clare is one I believe will catch the attention of others, as if he meets his expectations, he is set for an All-State season.

A playmaking under-the-radar quarterback south of Atlanta who was really fun to watch this past season, Clare was one of the leading passers across the 3A classification and among all juniors in the state. He brings enough mobility as a runner to make plays with his legs but loves to sling the ball all over the field. He throws with confidence and shows a natural ability to make plays with his arm. He threw for an impressive 2,607 yards and 19 touchdowns last season, completing 60% of his passes while rushing for over 160 yards and two more scores. Look for him to be even better as a senior next year.

Another athletic quarterback who also shines on the baseball diamond, Clare may not be the biggest quarterback at just 6-foot-0 190-pounds, but he’s a promising passer who can make plays with his legs and throws on the run. He shows quick feet, and although he doesn’t have a traditional release, the ball zips out of his hands. He’s one of the more productive passers in the area and has thrown for 1,467 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. He can continue to improve his accuracy and decision making, but it’s clear his best football is ahead of him. If Clare can finish the season strong he could have an even bigger senior season in 2026.
