Hale blocks with light feet and natural movement skills. He’s nimble and quick, with off-the-charts lateral quickness as a blocker, capable of matching speed with pass rushers on the edge while boasting excellent range as a blocker in space. He brings very good length to the position and shows the anticipation and flexibility to absorb blocks, redirect them, and keep his balance and footwork. When he loses a step, he’s shown the ability to ride the bull and stay in contact with the rusher long enough to salvage the block. He recognizes and picks up stunts and is smooth and effective on combo blocks. He shows physicality in the run game and looks to bury a defender into the turf at the end of runs.

Asher Hale Asher Hale 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL Saint Paul's | 2024 State AL is an offensive tackle that we haven’t had eyes on until recently, but man has he impressed us. Since last fall, Hale has witnessed a significant surge in his recruitment  and rightfully so, he has proved himself as one of the states top OL prospects. Hale has an explosive burst off the line of scrimmage and consistently puts himself in a position to succeed against opposing defensive linemen. His explosiveness paired with his ability to quickly engage defenders allow him to control the line of scrimmage and create huge opportunities for his teammates. In addition to that, Hale’s intelligence shines through in his play- he demonstrates a high level of awareness and makes intelligent decisions in recognizing stunts, picking up blitzes, and knows what he needs to do each play to make the biggest impact for his team. Asher Hale Asher Hale 6'5" | 300 lbs | OL Saint Paul's | 2024 State AL has been a pivotal piece of Saint Paul Episcopal’s offensive line the last few seasons, last fall proved to be a big time breakout season for the versatile linemen as his recruitment has really opened up since the end of the year. Hale is a big guy, standing at 6’5 300, Hale uses every bit of his size to dominate opposing defensive linemen in the trenches. Hale has a serious amount of power, bend, and agility that allow him to fluidly move both in pass protection and in the run game- with those skills you can count on him to consistently do his job at a high level all four quarters, which is a huge attribute to his position. As mentioned earlier, Hale has seen his recruitment really open up since last fall- he has received offers Marshall, UAB, North Alabama, and Jacksonville State!
