Canarsie loses Dillan Fontus Dillan Fontus 6'5" | 260 lbs | DL Canarsie | 2023 State NY to Maryland and while there were questions about who would replace him, Maijeh opting to head the public school route was the answer Canarsie got lucky with. Maijeh played alongside some really quality defensive lineman for Christ the King but should shine for Canarsie as they rely on him in the trenches.

Maijeh has a strong upper body and his physicality at the point of attack is one of his best traits. Maijeh physically is stronger and faster than most of the offensive lineman he faces and his ability to win off the snap with either gives him multiple ways to win. Maijeh can get a little wild with his physicality and athleticism so taking the next step this season will be honing in on what his responsibilities are and not being overaggressive in attempt to make plays. Maijeh shows flashes of dominance but he shows a lot of making big plays or the opposite so more consistency would go a long way in his development. Maijeh could skyrocket up these rankings if he can really start to develop more consistency this fall.

Maijeh has a great combination of power and speed and can win with multiple pass rush moves or plans. Maijeh does a really good job of using quick and violent hands to put offensive lineman under extreme pressure. Maijeh could have some of the best 1v1 reps of any lineman in New York based on his athleticism alone. Maijeh also should athletically test well at any camp and features size that could easily be worth FBS attention.

His ability to eat up double teams and win 1v1 quickly with effective pass rush moves is impressive. Maijeh has a really quick burst off the snap and his ability to win through first contact and get alongside offensive lineman so quickly make him a mainstay in opponents backfields. Maijeh has some of the most developed pass rush moves for an interior defensive lineman in this class and on tape has put out really solid reps as both a pass rusher or run defender.
