He shows good quickness and change of direction in the open field with the ability to make guys miss. Throwing the ball, Hageleit has a smooth release both in the pocket and when he throws on the run. He has a natural touch on his passes and shows accuracy in the short and intermediate areas of the field. Hageleit shows solid poise in the pocket, although he does spend a lot of time throwing on the run outside the pocket where he shows that same calm demeanor with defenders after him.
