Deslaurier, who is about as built and physically imposing as most college linebackers, if not already bigger and stronger, was a hot name last fall and this spring as multiple SEC and ACC schools were in on the LB from Quebec. Deslaurier pledged to Syracuse over the summer, and the LB prospect is one of the top middle linebackers in the Southeast. Deslaurier has good straight-line closing speed and is a physical, violent tackler.
