Anthony’s updated film from 2025 was really impressive. I saw what I had been hoping to see-more in line TE reps, blocking, and still being that explosive player over the middle. He has improved in every area of the position, while remaining that athletic deep threat that can hurt you after the catch and make a good play great. Good hands, great consistency with his route running and and a body that is starting to take form into a can’t-miss prospect. Cartwright is #1 on our board for a reason, and his film tells the tale.

Anthony made it look easy out there. His Week 1 tape begins with a really nice defensive play. Lined up as the 5-tech, Anthony does a great job quickly and agressively swiping the OT’s hands away before blowing up the play in the backfield.
The latter half of the tape showcases Anthony’s receiving abilities. 0:20 is an incredible catch in traffic + RAC. Same with 0:30- catches with hands, sheds defenders, and does best to work forward.
Anthony is a traits-heavy player with the performances to back up those traits. Extremely high upside player.

Someone who has a real case for the #1 spot.
Cartwright has done nothing put produce both in-season and out-of-season. He’s one of the very few prospects who has the opportunity to play college football at practically any school he wants.
Listed as a Tight End, I could also easily see him as an elite X receiver in college. He has the height, length, and physicality for both. I beleive Anthony’s best trait is his athleticism. He’s 6’4″, but changes direction like a 5’8″ slot receiver. In the open field, Anthony demonstrates an ability to both sidestep tackles and run through them when needed. This offseason, he’s shown some improvement regarding catch radius and all-around ball skills.
Anthony is a unicorn. Extremely rare prospect, and heck, could be my #1 player soon.

Cartwright is another tight end type with phenomenal upside. His height is ideal at 6’4″, and his long limbs make his upside even better. Anthony has yet to blow me away with his receiving game, but there’s no doubt the potential is there. I’d like to see more explosiveness off the line of scrimmage, and better open-field ability, and I don’t think his current film shows off many difficult catches. He does have several good blocking highlights, and I love his overall physicality. Anthony could bulk up and be an incredible in-line tight end, or he could be a phenomenal 6’4″ physical receiver.

Michigan – Somewhere between a Tight End and Wide Receiver right now at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds. Comes with the route running ability and hands to be a threat on multiple levels of the offense–including in the deep game. Brings enough speed to tack on yards after the catch but his bread and butter is the red zone. Borderline elite body control and uses his bigger frame to box out defenders to win 50/50 balls. Also has a big catch radius, serving as a safety net for quarterback’s looking to dump off a ball under duress.

Talk about another WR prospect that had that “man amongst boys” mentality at our Prep Redzone Midwest Camp in the Chicagoland, as we meet Detroit (MI) WR

. This young man had the WIDEST catch radius I have ever seen at the multiple PRZ Next Camps I have scouted in the last two years, and showed all of that 6’3 190 pound frame in his wheelhouse. Anthony also showed off very well-developed hands and had that premiere vision to make adjustments on the fly to give himself the best possible angle to make a catch, especially with his route-running on his deep routes. If I was a quarterback throwing to Anthony on a daily basis, I would feel extremely safe around the edges of the football field getting that ball high in the air and depending on his big time vertical to get me a touchdown. You just don’t see pass-catchers with that size and skillsets at the junior high level as Anthony is another one on this list I have a Division FBS grade on going into high school.

. Wrapped up a crazy youth career in the greater Detroit area, with the Southfield Falcons and Orchard Lake Cardinals. Billed at 6-foot-3 and 188-pounds, he’s an excellent receiving Tight End. He’s literally a home run threat in football and in baseball. Per his social media he has trained with former Detroit Lion and NFL Hall of Famer, Calvin Johnson.

is a Tight End prospect out of Michigan that is already attracting the attention of schools in the Midwest. He’ll be visiting Western Michigan this upcoming weekend and previously visited both Michigan and Michigan State. The college invite is a step towards the D1 goal, but Cartwright III has been putting the work in behind the scenes to get that invite. Also a tremendous basketball player and power hitter in baseball, Cartwright III played for the Southfield Falcons last year but is now playing for the Orchard Lake Cardinals, to round out his youth career. It should come as no surprise that many schools in the greater Detroit area would love to have Cartwright III on their squad next year.
