is another defensive linemen who climbed up our rankings in our recent update. He lines up at defensive tackle where he is very reliable against the run. Ferguson does a great job of using his strength to stack and shed blocks effectively on his way to the ball carrier. Once he gets to the ball carrier, he is a very reliable tackler, finishing this past season with 77 tackles and 13 tackles for loss in 13 games. He has also shown promised as a pass rusher, using a strong bull rush to fight straight through blocks on his way to the quarterback. Ferguson finished his junior year with four sacks. Andrew doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on as he has the talent to play somewhere at the next level.

plays on both sides of the ball but stood out as a defensive lineman at Sunday’s camp. He was very impressive during 1v1 drills, showing the strength to drive straight through blocks to cause disruption in the pocket. Ferguson also showed the ability to use his hands to defeat blocks quickly. Andrew doesn’t currently hold any offers but he should be a player to keep an eye on heading into his senior year.

Although unfamiliar with his game before the Combine, 2026 Pikeville (KY) DL Andrew Ferguson made the trek to Morgantown and made himself known very quickly. If you didn’t know any better, you would’ve thought a sophomore in college snuck in to get some work instead of a sophomore in high school. Not only did Ferguson look the part physically, but his play throughout the camp earned him a spot in the DL Top 5 Performers group. He’s a strong athlete with good length who is well ahead of most 2026 prospects at this stage of their development. Ferguson is a highly physical player who also moves well for his size.
You could see why he’s ranked just outside of the Top 50 by our Kentucky site and the #6 ranked DL in the class.

He does a great job of using his strength to fight through blocks to get to the ball carrier and make the tackle before they can get going. Andrew finished this past season with 61 tackles and nine tackles for loss in 13 games. He also showed some reliability as a pass rusher, finishing the season with five sacks. Ferguson doesn’t currently hold any offers but should be a player to keep an eye on heading into his junior year.
