Ramseur broke out as a freshman receiver last season, but has moved to quarterback for Mountain Island Charter in 2025. He’s still a receiver in our system, though, and his ability with the ball in his hands is obvious. We’ve gotten to see him in some games against bigger schools, and though it hasn’t been as easy a year as we’d expected from the 1A contender, Ramsuer has played well, even while spotlighted by the defense.

Ramseur’s evaluation is tricky, as he’s a smaller, shiftier gadget guy who carves up the lower classifications. That being said, he’s truly electric, with verifiable times that suggest that athleticism can translate to the next level. He’s a guy we’re monitoring closely, and his evaluation will likely change multiple times over the course of his career.

Andre, or “3k” as he is called by his coaches and teammates, did a lot of work in trying to keep the Raptors offense moving. Andre showed his speed and scrambling ability from the QB position, and that was a little bit shutdown with the quick whistle the scrimmage had on quarterbacks. The Raptors played a lot of backups, and I’m excited to see Andre back in his normal receiver position when the season starts.

Ramseur had a huge freshman season, finishing with over 800 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He contributed in every phase of the game, scoring as a rusher, receiver, kick returner, and picking off a pass on defense. Don’t let his size fool you, he’s electric in the open field and is a threat to take every catch to the endzone, regardless of where he gets the ball.

Ramseur actually bested Clark in terms of numbers this season, leading the state with a class-best 56 catches and 829 yards. What Ramseur lacks in pure size, he has in elite shiftiness and top-end speed. He’s an all-around athlete, contributing on offense, defense, and special teams, but it’s his elite body control that gives him such upside at receiver.
