About Amir
Expert Analysis

- Uber-competitve
- A great athletic foundation. Better yet, he knows how to use his athleticism.
- Great vision, sneaky-good elusiveness
- Developing as a passer; absolutely ahead of the curve
- An elite competitor with rare instincts. A dude who does his best work when competing, not in pajamas at a random workout.

Forris is getting the star treatment before he even steps on a high school football field. It’s for good reason.
The Westside Cubs are one of the few youth teams that colleges have their eye on. There, Amir was a superstar. Rushing, passing, whatever he needed to do to help his team win, Amir was there for it.
Specifically, I love how competitive and physical Amir is on the football field. Two things that are difficult to show at an offseason workout. Especially physicality- Amir ran dudes over on a daily basis. It may take him a while to show that same dominance on a High School Varsity field, but I know he’ll eventaully get there.
As a passer, Amir is developing. Not going to nitpick a middle schooler too much. The most important thing is that Amir is competitive, wants to develop, and is developing.

Man, I’m looking forward to seeing what Amir is capable of.
This is a young prospect that I didn’t know anything about until, well, today. Come to know, he’s already got two Division 1 offers from Howard and Southern Miss.
Not a whole lot of tape out there, but from what I can find, Amir is clearly superb for his age. The few throws I can find have decent velocity and great placement. The velocity will fix itself with age, but that placement is someone that’s very difficult to teach. The fact that he’s already hitting receivers in full stride is an incredibly green flag.
Looking forward to seeing how he throws the football, how good of an athlete he is, and what high school he ends up attending.

One of the most dynamic Quarterbacks I saw down at AYF Nationals last week. His dual-threat ability, and frankly all of his athleticism, was on display throughout the week. He had a lot of talent around him and was one of the main factors on the 13U Westside Cubs winning the AYF 13U D2 National Championship. He had credible weapons at every skill position, but he seemed to have a nice connect with Peyton Robibnson.

- Watching the Detroit-based 13U Westside Cubs warmup, Forris quickly emerged as an apparent team leader. He was dressed and ready before the majority of his teammates, was pressing everyone else to hurry up and started throwing the ball around.
- A true dual-threat at the Quarterback position. On top of a very polished arm and an excellent throwing motion, he did a great job of feeling pressure and moving outside of the pocket with his eyes downfield to keep plays alive. Played the QB position with Running Back vision and Slot Wide Receiver quickness.
- Ironically enough, Forris did line up as a Wide Receiver in the Cubs semi-final victory over the Springfield Tigers (Massachusetts) and caught a point-after attempt. It should be noted that he can also play Cornerback at a high level on defense too.
