Amere Jones Amere Jones 5'10" | 175 lbs | ATH Eminence | 2028 State KY is another talented player who is waiting to be cleared for action for Eminence after transferring from Valley. He is an explosive playmaker on offense at receiver who does a great job of using his speed and smooth breaks in his routes to create easy separation. Jones is also impressive after the catch, showing the ability to turn short passes into big gains on a regular basis. He has also shown the ability to make plays out of the backfield and as a return specialist, and has also proven to be reliable on defense as a defensive back. Amere holds offers from Eastern Kentucky and Grambling State, and I expect a lot of eyes to be on him when he returns to the field.

On offense, he lines up at receiver where he is very dangerous in the open field after the catch. He has explosive speed and has also shown the ability to make defenders miss with ease, which makes him a threat to turn short passes into a big gain at any given moment. He also returned a punt for a touchdown and made an impact on defense, recording 17 tackles and two interceptions. Jones holds an offer from Grambling State and I’m eager to see how he progresses moving forward after transferring to Eminence for his junior year.
