Vegas is an underrated prospect with the potential to be a steal as a recruit for the right program. Being a 6-foot-3 corner makes him an immediate standout on and off the field. His wingspan helps him force receivers to take wider releases off the line while also making him a difficult defender to beat in jump ball situations. His technique is a little raw, but his instincts and physicality enable him to consistently be near the ball with the willingness to make a big hit. Vegas is an athlete whose powerful stride makes him difficult to break away from and hard to catch when the ball is in his hands, adding to his list of sleeper characteristics.
