Alex Simmons Alex Simmons 6'4" | 215 lbs | ATH Hostos Lincoln Academy | 2023 State NY is a really good athlete with great size and intriguing positional versatility. Simmons played WE/TE/LB/S for Lincoln in the PSAL and was one of their most electric players all season. Simmons has such intriguing size at 6-4, 215lbs that he could really project at a few positions at the next level. On offense I think Simmons could put on some weight and be a really dangerous pass catching tight end. Simmons showed this season he has the speed and ball skills to make really big plays. On the defensive side of the ball Simmons could be pushed back and be a bigger safety prospect with long range or bulk up and become a extremely athletic edge defender. Simmons may have not been the most notable New Yorker on the stat sheet but his ability to contribute in so many ways on the field make him a necessary addition to our rankings.
