- Multi-sport athlete who plays–if there is such a thing–a powerful brand of Quarterback. Big lefty who really looks like a Tight End more than anything else, can drive the ball home with some zip and/or dip a shoulder on a dude if he gets out rumbling in space.
- The future is a bit of a mystery when looking at Matney. Given his hulking size and ability to move around a little bit, do not be surprised if a move to Tight End happens in time. If it does not, well then we may possibly be taking an early look at Ben Roethlisberger 2.0
