Taking over under Center for the Cardinals in his senior season, Alex Hoppe Alex Hoppe 6'2" | QB Willmar | 2027 MN has not only maintained Willmar’s competitive momentum from last season, but has surpassed their performance from last season. Hoppe has thrown for 1153 yards, 16 TDs, and 4 INTs through 7 games while adding 181 rushing yards (9.5 YPC) as Willmar currently sits with an undefeated regular season record. Hoppe can zip the ball with ease, showing natural motion and delivery in his release to be able to sling the ball deep down the sidelines and over the seams, and while he doesn’t run the ball often, he is sneakily dangerous whenever he does tuck the ball and run. Hoppe has set up the Cardinals in great position entering this postseason, and it will be interesting to see how far Hoppe gets this team in his lone postseason run as their starting QB.
