I am additionally impressed with Akeem Cox Akeem Cox 5'8" | 125 lbs | WR TN , a wide receiver at Lexington Middle School. Cox stood out due to his outstanding aggression down the stretch, proving he can withstand physicality in coverage and stay in front of the deep pass. Cox also made a considerable difference with his breakaway speed and ability to push off his opponent on the run.

Lexington Middle School’s Akeem Cox Akeem Cox 5'8" | 125 lbs | WR TN is a dynamic playmaker itching to make his debut under those Friday night lights in the fall. Without question, the name of the game with Cox is quickness and speed. A very agile kid, he’s the type of player you do whatever you can to create space for. Whether it be pre-snap motion, running “pick plays”, crossing routes, rolling the quarterback out, etc.–anything to give Cox just a crease. Before all else, he could make his biggest initial impact in the kick or punt return game. On the smaller/thinner side right now, but hopefully the Lexington Minutemen’s reigning Athlete of the Year will pack on some needed-muscle this off-season.
