It’s now been back to back showings in the live eval at SDSU and now the UND Flagship Camp that Devils Lake’s Aidan Stiven has shown why we have him rated as one of the best 2029s in North Dakota. The Firebirds defensive end was showed off the springy movement you wanted to see coming off the edges while yet being flexibile when it came to his balance in the reps we were able to watch in Grand Forks. I saw accelerating growth from Aiden from one FCS camp to another with how he could refit his hands and quickly accumulate leverage as in the younger group of DLs at the UND Flagshp Camp, Aidan was one of the best in attendance from what I was able to gather. Surely is one that should see the Division 1 stock rise sooner rather than later in this young 2029 class.

Another #2 overall prospect this time in North Dakota that had an impressive morning at the OL/DL session of the SDSU Prospect Camp was one that is coming off a state championship run in his freshmen season which is Devils Lake’s

. The 6’3 235 pounder, showed off great effectiveness with his get off hands and the hands were not the only part of his get off that intrigued us. He showed off to be more well-rounded in his movement than you might expect for a freshmen with Aiden’s size, as his get off showed the sudden burst you wanted to see and Aiden was more wirey with his twtich when he had to change his pathway and release off his hands. Probably one of the better live evals I got from a 2029 DAK prospect in Brookings on Monday.

Aiden came into our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase with a high bar that I learned about over the summer actually in Aberdeen at the Northern State prospect camp as our DL1 in the 2029 class and #2 overall prospect out of new 11AA state champion Devils Lake. He left our Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase as one our couple top performers in the DL group which is impressive for a freshmen especially in the defensive trenches. The 6’1 220 pounder showed off a 6’3 wingspan that I felt not only was long, but his length in his strides showed me one that was also rangy too when he got off the snap. He was one that was balanced in utilzing his quickness off the snap and thru coaching was one of the best 2029s that were top performers due to his coachability for his age. He also had a bigger motor than you might expect for that size and was one that was relentless with his hands in all the reps I watched. It looks like we made a great decision in naming him as our DL1 based off the live eval, as I feel Aiden could be a early offer target in this 2029 class.

of Devils Lake, surely looked the part in one of the first live evals we have gotten on Aiden since summer camp season. He logged in the top-tier for tackles with the defensive linemen group which is mighty impressive for just a freshmen that has his best football up ahead of him. Aiden has progressed with his hands thru contact and also is playing with more of an eye-catching motor as he’s one 2029 I look forward to watching closely at our upcoming Prep Redzone Dakotas Showcase.

Live camp evals are my favorite to those of you that know me well, and we got a pretty good one at the Northen State prospect camp on our newest DL1 in the 2029 which is

of Devils Lake. The 6’2 225 pounder ran an eye-catching 40-yard dash at the NDSU camp a couple weeks before for his size and what I caught out of him at Northern State certainly passed the eye test. He showed off quick and durable hands off his sheds as Aiden also impressed me with his fluidity once he got off his blocks in Aberdeen for a young defensive tackle. The Firebirds to me, have some under the radar firepower on their defenisve line with Aiden and
