Coach Finnerty spoke very highly of Pagonis when I asked him about replacing the production of McCarter and Knutson. He is already an all conference defensive back (4 interceptions as a junior), he should have more of a role offensively for the Pioneers. Pagonis is a speed merchant and he could be a reliable target for whomever wins the starting quarterback job. Recently obtaining an offer from Christopher Newport University, Pagonis has a 4.0 GPA!

Patriot’s Aiden Pagonis Aiden Pagonis 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Patriot | 2026 State VA is starting to see his hard work pay off, receiving an offer from Ferrum College. Pagonis was all conference as a junior and had 4 interceptions and 40 tackles! He will play corner at the next level in my opinion but do not be surprised if he gets more opportunities on offense for the Pioneers this fall too.

Patriot took down Battlefield for the first time in eight tries thanks to a herculean type effort from their defense. The Bobcats had been averaging over 35 points per contest and thanks to the play of junior corner Aiden Pagonis Aiden Pagonis 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Patriot | 2026 State VA amongst others their run is now over. Pagonis picked off an interception in the endzone to end Battlefield’s perfect season and give Patriot a shot at the Regional Championship.
