saw a nice debut bumping up from our watch list a year ago. He is strong and disruptive off the snap with a low base he is ferocious. Moving really well Umana has a good motor and never quits on a play. He has been playing for the Pioneers district playoff squads the past two seasons. Stepping into a bigger role as a junior he could be an all region selection.

fitting that bill nicely. The defensive tackle is so quick and powerful off the snap, he stays in a low base making him very difficult to block. Tremendous power in his upper body, Umana was one of the strongest defensive lineman in the district this past fall. He uses his size to his advantage up front and you can see his closing speed on tape.

Chris is a DT in a 40-front to watch on Patriot’s defense. He started as a freshman last season and should only get better. What stands out in his film is that you can see visible improvement in his technique from the first week and the last week. He has developed a rip move in block shedding that you see him utilize a lot, and as the season progressed, he improved his use of hands to strike an offensive lineman to keep him out of his frame. Shows quickness in pass rushing that allows him to collapse the pocket. Chris has a lot of upside in his game and I will be excited to see his growth over the next few seasons.
