About Aiden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Overly prepared and aggressive. Film study is one aspect of football my dad really emphasized with me. It's nice to see your highlights but it also shows tendencies of the team you're playing. My dad and my high school coaches have done a great job teaching me how to watch film. I have learned that if I'm prepared, the confidence comes along with it, and so does the aggression.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My dad said that I remind him of a duck. Calm on the surface, but I am moving a mile a minute under the water. Although I speak up when I have to, I have learned to lead more by example. I'm someone who thrives on hard work, and I take pride in that. I don't complain, I just go out there and play because that's what I love to do.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am looking to get involved with more high school clubs in the future.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I want to be a leader on and off the field and that's a big responsibility because I want my team to win as much as possible and the only way that will happen is if we put in the work. I am always working out trying to better myself and I'm always going to be the first one there and the last one to leave. Currently, I am trying volunteer at my local VA to help give back to the veterans.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Throughout my time playing football, I have never played the Offensive Line. I was always a running back, quarterback or tight end. This past season, I stepped into a role I never thought I would, center on the offensive line. This has taught me a great deal about myself, that with hard work and dedication I can excel in any area on the field that my team requires.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will challenge me on and off the field. Academically, I wish to pursue a degree in Broadcast Journalism, media or film. Athletically, I hope my college can see how versatile I am and how I can help my team in multiple ways.
