Wrestling and basketball background show in physicality and movement. Took a rankings hit due to slowed recruiting, not ability. Needs stability moving forward. Tools are still clearly there. Can win at multiple levels of the field. I’d still bet on him long-term. FBS/FCS caliber player. Has more to prove this upcoming season. Ceiling remains high if things settle.

A tough match-up for any type of DB, particularly ones that won’t get physical at the line of scrimmage. If you let Otway-Kellom do what he wants in terms of post-snap release, he’s going to have you leaning if you aren’t prepared. Exemplary work manipulating leverage, exemplary work eating up space, and stepping on the toes of DBs when necessary. Excels as a stemmer, I can tell JOK spends time working on the nuances of the WR position.

What I love after watching JOK on our drone post camp, once he creates positive separation to work with early in reps, he has the stride and awareness to maintain that gap via acceleration skills. From what I can tell, this is a 4.5-capable young man, and it shows on tape and in some 1v1 reps. If he can make his speed numbers undeniable, there’s no telling what his true ceiling in recruiting could/will be. He deserves a bump in ranking after a Top Five performance this past Saturday.

Posted a four-minute tape on Hudl just two weeks ago. Nearly 600 yards through the air, 10 total touchdowns, and two interceptions to his name. Some might question the competition level Otway-Kellom faces, yet I wouldn’t hold District 2 3A ball against him. Tape proves he can get open and separate from different alignments (inside-slot to perimeter). A pass-catcher who can adjust to the football well, a good sign of his athleticism. Body control is a plus. Proves he can serve as a legitimate playmaker with ball-in-hand opportunities, JOK has a couple special returns on tape. A sure-handed pass-catcher who can double as a trustworthy in-space tackler. If JOT can dominate this level of competition and double down on a solid sophomore campaign, I can further justify a climb on our rankings. Excited to potentially see him this off-season.
