Torres is a highly productive and instinctive LB who consistently finds ways to impact the game despite not having the ideal frame for the position. As a sophomore, he logged 109 total tackles, 8 tackles for loss, and 8 sacks demonstrating his activity level and ability to finish plays behind the LOS. Smart and savvy defender that is quick to diagnose, trusts his reads, and triggers without hesitation. Athletically he shows good lateral mobility and change of direction to redirect and close on the ball. Good burst working downhill and possesses the range to make plays all over the field. Strong finisher who secures tackles in the open field and limits yards after contact with good wrap up technique. Will continue to be defensive leader for Centennial over the next two seasons.
