2025 Lincoln WR/LB Aidan Rice Aidan Rice 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Lincoln | 2025 State WV was a good find as a junior and didn’t miss a beat for the Cougars as a senior. Rice totaled 61 receptions for 988 yards and 11 touchdowns this season and posted over 100 total tackles on defense as a great two-way player for Lincoln. He is a natural athlete with good size which caused us to like him more as a receiver prospect for the next level and could excel at that level. Rice is just a football player who executes anything he’s tasked with at a high level. His ball skills come naturally and is capable of some eye-popping acrobatic and contested catches. Rice is a must-offer for D2 programs and a hidden gem of a prospect in the making.

Aidan Rice Aidan Rice 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Lincoln | 2025 State WV has had a stock-rising season for the Lincoln Cougars this year and has recently picked up his first two D2 offers from Glenville State and West Liberty.
Rice is a game-changer on both sides of the ball and is opening eyes on defense this season as well at outside linebacker. The 6’2 190 senior is even taking traditional running back carries at times and is an all-around “football player’ for the Cougars who can do just about anything on the field. His combination of size and athleticism makes him an intriguing prospect who has versatility for which position he eventually ends up in college. Rice has a ton of potential as a receiver at the next level but is making a great case for linebacker as well with what he’s putting on film.

One of the more underrated players in the state who you may not know is 2025 Lincoln WR Aidan Rice Aidan Rice 6'2" | 190 lbs | WR Lincoln | 2025 State WV . We couldn’t find any social media presence for Rice on X, but his junior highlight tape warranted a placement inside of the top 150 and a Top 25 WR ranking. He’s a long athlete at 6’3 with a track background where he placed inside of the Top 15 in the 110m hurdles at the WVSSAC State Track & Field Championships this spring. Rice’s playmaking ability on the football field at his size is impressive as a fluid athlete who doesn’t move how many 6’3 athletes typically move. He has the typical catch radius and leaping ability that athletes his size usually do, but Rice’s ability after the catch isn’t the norm. He has great balance and the speed to runaway from defenders in the open field which also aids his ability to create separation during his routes.
Rice may very well still be underrated at his current ranking and has the potential to enter the Top 100 as the Cougars’ likely #1 option in the passing game this season.
