Leading the way for a Desert Vista receiving corps that had 439 yards as a whole, Aeneas Redmond Aeneas Redmond 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Desert Vista | 2025 State AZ was gouging the Corona del Sol defense for short, medium, and very long gains all throughout the night. The sure-handed wideout caught 14 passes for 162 yards and two scores, consistently getting separation no matter what the defense was running. Showing just how tough he is, Redmond took a few big hits over the middle and popped right back up every time. Crazy enough, he wasn’t even the only Desert Vista receiver to finish with over 150 yards and two touchdowns.

Aeneas Redmond Aeneas Redmond 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Desert Vista | 2025 State AZ is so dangerous with the ball in his hands, and that’s probably why he’s so often a focal point in Desert Vista’s quick passing game. Get him the ball in open space, and he can make some explosive plays happen with his speed and slipperiness. Redmond rarely goes down to first contact and has some great balance to be able to withstand some of the harder hits and keep on moving. He followed his first 100-yard game of his senior season up with a 272-yard, four-touchdown performance. He caught 11 balls on the day and averaged 25 yards on each one. Redmond is a player coaches should take a long look at as he works through his senior season.

2025 Wide Receiver Aeneas Redmond Aeneas Redmond 6'0" | 180 lbs | WR Desert Vista | 2025 State AZ has blown away his preseason expectations as he is the leading receiving yards leader among all 6A receivers. On the season so far, he has 25 catches for 448 receiving yards and 6 TDs, with his biggest performance coming in his most recent game, where he put up monster numbers of 11 receptions for 272 receiving yards and 4 TDs. Being much more heavily utilized in the slot in his first three games, Redmond’s yards after catch ability has been something else, exhibiting outstanding burst and open field speed blowing past defensive secondaries with electric acceleration. His short range route running over the middle causes safeties to be cautious about how they approach tackling him, otherwise he will pop one to the endzone. He is becoming a more well-rounded receiver by the week, making himself a reliable option for his offense. He will have a true test in front of him against a stout Hamilton secondary this week, but Redmond is ready for the challenge.
