Adrian’s one of those guys who just seems to show up around the football. His natural ball skills are impressive — he’s got a knack for getting a hand in at the last second to break things up, and he tracks the ball well in the air. His speed is solid and his footwork is coming along, especially when flipping his hips and reacting in coverage. Physically, he’s going to need to bulk up a bit. He’s not the tallest corner, so putting on some extra weight will be important if he wants to keep up with the bigger, more physical receivers he’ll be seeing more of as a junior. But what you can’t teach is feel — and Adrian clearly has that. He anticipates routes well, trusts his instincts, and competes every rep. There’s a lot to like about where he’s at, and even more to like about where he’s headed.
