About Abe

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My name is Abe, I’m a 6’1”, 205-pound running back in the class of 2027. On the defensive side, I am playing D-end. I also compete in track and field, where I earned All-State Second Team honors in 2025 as well as being named to the All-State Sophomore Team. On the field and in the weight room, I push myself to get better every day—I currently squat 345 pounds, bench 280, and deadlift 440.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Football has been a passion of mine since eighth grade, and I've been playing ever since. My ultimate goal is to continue playing beyond high school and college. To achieve this, I've ingrained the values of perseverance and hard work, ensuring that I always give more than the other person.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Off the field, I’m part of my school’s Best Buddies club and serve as the treasurer, which has helped me learn responsibility and leadership.

Standing at 6’0″ 205-Pounds, Abe Cushing Abe Cushing Abe Cushing 6'0" | 205 lbs | DB/RB Cambridge/Salem | 2027 State NY displays an excellent build for a DB. Given his frame he can lineup on the offense, mainly at RB, but reps at WR are possible.

The Cambridge/Salem prospect had an impressive season, tallying over 60 tackles with 3 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries. He has a high motor and quick first step, allowing him to rush the QB untouched. He is a true disruptor who affects every play he can and forces his opponents to make mistakes. He has a high IQ and can read a play before it develops.

Cushing is an intriguing prospect who attacks the offense in the pass rushing part of his game. I would like to see more coverage reps, but he is an excellent prospect.
