The Cambridge/Salem prospect had an impressive season, tallying over 60 tackles with 3 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries. He has a high motor and quick first step, allowing him to rush the QB untouched. He is a true disruptor who affects every play he can and forces his opponents to make mistakes. He has a high IQ and can read a play before it develops.
Cushing is an intriguing prospect who attacks the offense in the pass rushing part of his game. I would like to see more coverage reps, but he is an excellent prospect.
