The Utica Commit, had a good season for Baldwinsville, and will look to continue his impressive year in Downington this weekend. The 6’3″ 205-Pound Tight End has excellent size for the position. His frame is the exact reason I see him as a player to watch. His frame allows him to make jump balls look easy, which is a valuable trait in 7v7. He also displays good speed for a TE, which allows him to be used as a WR mainly as a major size mismatch. Holcomb also shows veteran leadership and a high IQ, both of which I expect to see on full display this weekend.

Standing at 6’3″ 205-pounds, Holcomb is the top TE in Section Three. Holcomb has a big frame and can move well. He is a bit undersized and can gain some good weight but it is not needed.
On tape he is a true Redzone threat who is a matchup nightmare with his size and frame. He has solid hands and a fluid body allowing him to move off the LOS with ease. He uses his size to an advantage to come down with contested catches.
Holcomb is easily the top Section Three TE and displays solid traits on the LOS. Little tape on blocking but he has good hand placement.

Holcomb has a great frame and was a favorite target alongside Peyton Way. He is big and can move very well. He can flex between receiver and tight end and his versatility during the season will show. He posed as a difficult match-up and can work as a main target down in the redzone.

Holcomb is a beast at tight end for Baldwinsville and he showed more of that at the Pennsylvania Classic. I can see why he was an all conference selection as a junior and also why he would be a difficult matchup for any team regular or 7v7. He can run and at 6’3 you beast believe he is going to get attention from schools at the next level.

Holcomb was a new name for me a week before the tournament. I’m glad I was able to get a look at him. He is a TE/LB who, based on his size profile and movement skills, could end up at LB at the next level.
He does flash some receiving upside in a weaker-than-usual TE class in New York’s 2026 grad year, but at 6’3 205, he is more of a tweener TE/WR prospect, and I will say that in a 7v7 setting, his movement skills fit more of the big WR prototype than a true TE prospect.
Regardless, he showed positional versatility this past weekend. He made some solid plays, had a really good change of direction, and flashed some intriguing long speed if you consider him a TE/WR.
There is a lot to like in a prospect like Holcomb. His future body development will likely dictate his position more than any specific position skill he has right now, but he is a player who should be in a nice spot in the next rankings update.
