I had Kennedy Listed at DL because I really liked his DT tape from his sophomore season – at camp, he was at OG, and I thought he was really solid throughout camp.
6’2 with a 6’6 wingspan from his broad shoulders; he has a solid frame and a loose lower body and consistently stays grounded with a strong anchor. Kennedy can continue to work on his hand placement. He had a couple of misses on that initial contact, but I was a fan of how he was able to recover at times, and he is strong at the point of attack on some of his more aggressive reps. He did a great job of controlling the contact at the point of attack.

Kennedy, who is a defensive tackle for Baldwinsville, could also project as an offensive lineman but, in his sophomore tape, is stronger on the defensive side of the ball. Kennedy is quick off the ball and shows solid use of hands with the ability to shed blocks and use a really solid swim move to attack slower offensive linemen.

Kennedy’s first year on varsity highlights consists of him playing quite a bit of defensive tackle for Baldwinsville. He showed some positional versatility being able to line up from 0-tech to 5-tech. Listed at 6’4 290lbs Kennedy shows solid upfield burst and good quickness. His quickness helps him shoot gaps get into the backfield and finish plays for a loss. As a tackler, Kennedy finishes with violence and strength, the way he tackles can be best described as he swallows the ball carrier. Kennedy shows some good traits on his sophomore tape, adding strength to his lower body and upper body to improve his ability to knock linemen back and show more explosive movements on tape will be the next step in his development.
