Joshua Williams Joshua Williams 5'8" | 180 lbs | ATH Madison Academy | 2025 State AL made a ton of plays for Madison Academy’s offense and defense over the past few seasons, especially out of the backfield as a RB last fall. Williams is explosive on the ground- he plays with a ton of speed and physicality every time he gets the ball in his hands, it’s extremely impressive to watch. Williams is capable of breaking off massive scoring plays on the ground- once he gets through the line of scrimmage he is hard to stop in the open field. Williams can easily make defenders miss, has great contact balance, and has speed that completely separates him from entire defenses. While being as dominant as he is at RB, it makes it even more impressive he’s able to make as many plays as he can on defense as well. Williams made a ton of plays on both sides of the ball last year- he ended his season with 122 carries for 1456 yards and 22 touchdowns, with an additional 24 tackles (3 for loss) and one sack on defense.
