One of the top 2025 CB prospects in the state transferred to Centennial for his junior year. Zamorano is a high level corner with ideal length and size for the major D1 level at 6’2” 180 lbs. He’s got great range while showing excellent fluidity and athleticism changing directions and transitioning out of his back pedal. Great ability to stay in phase at all three levels matching WR movement with quick hips and good footwork. Explosive coming out his break with acceleration and leg drive to quickly close space on the WR with the ball in the air. Strong 1on1 open field tackler that can break down in space and wrap up to the ground while maintaining positional leverage. Recruiting has taken off since the start of last off season with 14 D1 offers coming in from top programs such as Oregon, Washington, USC, Utah, and Penn State.
Really impressive Safety prospect with great instincts and anticipation in coverage. At 6’2” 170 lbs. he possesses a well-rounded skillset to be effective in both coverage and in run support. High football IQ, he’s well-coached showing good efficient footwork, technique, and eye discipline. Patient reading his keys but flashes great reactionary quickness to diagnose plays as they are developing and trigger. Plus ball skills, shows he can track and adjust to ball flight and then compete for the ball at the high point. He’s an active defender that flies around playing fast and physical using his speed to cover the whole field. Good open field tackler that is strong at the POA and plays with leverage to bring hard contact. Recruitment has been steadily rising since his sophomore season with 11 D1 offers coming in from major programs such as Miami, Oregon, Washington, and Oklahoma.
Young is an exceptional athlete with great fluidity, twitch, and top end speed. He’s got outstanding ability to transition and explode out of his breaks to close space and make a play on the ball. In coverage he’s got great reactionary quickness and short area burst to match movement and recover. Speed gives him the range to cover the whole field. Does a good job playing through the hands of the receiver at the catch point. Possesses the positional versatility to play either side of the ball at the college level. He had three offers going into the spring until an amazing track season helped him shoot up recruiting boards. Ran a 21.87 in the 200M and a 10.77 in the 100M. Since then he’s collected seven more offers including USC, Oregon, Washington, and Washington State. One of the top sprinters in the state that will continue to see increased recruiting attention from high level programs.
A lot to like about Jamerson’s skillset as a college level DB. He’s a gift athlete with speed that is also smooth and savvy with his movement. At 6’1” 175 lbs. he shows he can be effective in both press and off coverage. He’s a physical corner with active hands to squeeze and maintain positional leverage at all three depths. Like his coverage instincts and ability to anticipate. He’s got great recognition and uses his speed well to jump routes and make a play on the ball. Plus ball skills with good hand-eye coordination, body control, and timing at the catch point. Reliable open field tackler that wraps up and finished to the ground. Currently holds three offers from Washington, UNLV, and Syracuse thus far but wouldn’t be surprised to see him be a double digit offer guy when all is said and done.
