Four 2021 York County Prospects Still Unsigned
As we are getting closer to National Signing Day coming up in February, we wanted to take a look at four 2021 prospects who are still looking for a place to call home. Let’s jump in:
Clover – K JB Potts
Analysis: Potts can really put his right leg into the ball to the point where returners are more hesitant to take the ball out of the end zone. The same thing can be said on his punts. The only difference is when the ball gets in the returner’s hands, the coverage is there as well and because of the spin on the ball, we saw a few times watching his film that the Blue Eagles were able to steal some possessions back because of a muffed punt. Potts also executed one of the cleanest onside kicks we’ve ever seen. He’s also outstanding in the classroom with a 4.1 GPA. An FCS program definitely needs to give this guy a look.
Northwestern – DT Daryl Dunifer
Analysis: At 6’2, Dunifer is tough to block and has a motor that’s always running. He defeats blocks using his size and strength to stuff the runner in the backfield before he’s able to get going at the defensive end position. He can chase down quarterbacks even when a play breaks down and knows how to take a good angle and stay in his rush lane. We saw on one play that he chased down a swing pass and was able to make his way through traffic to make a nice tackle and limit the play to a short gain. He’s impressive in the classroom with a 3.5 GPA. An FCS program would certainly be wise to give this young man a look.
York – TE/OLB JR Good
Analysis: Watching the first few clips of Good’s film, he knows how to go find someone and make impact blocks that can spring the ball carriers free. And he can stonewall defensive ends that are trying to make plays against the run. That versatility helps him at linebacker because he knows what blockers try to do. He’s able to come downhill and make tackles before the runner can even get going. He was an All-Region selection for the 2020 season and graded out at 80% with 15 knockdown blocks. He certainly will be a bright addition to an FCS program as he’s not only outstanding on the field, but he also plays baseball and softball. And he’s outstanding in the classroom as well with a 3.8 GPA.

Rock Hill – DT/DE Xa’Vion Robinson
Analysis: Robinson is one of the more disruptive defensive linemen we’ve seen in our evaluations of 2021 prospects. His first few clips were a quick indicator of that as he got after it from the time the ball was snapped and it’s even impressive seeing that he’s only 5’10. Even when it seems like the offense has the right play called, he’s right there to either chase it from behind or bring down the ball carrier for a loss. He gets the job done in the classroom with as well with a 3.0 GPA. He just received an offer from Greensboro College on January 11.
