He has the speed to create separation from defenders on longer wheel routes. He is a bit smaller is stature, however, this is advantageous to him because it allows him to run with lower pad level.

In 2022 as a freshman on varsity Mitchell slashed 112/725/7 on the ground. With a new head coach at the helm, Mitchell went for 91/513/10 on the ground. However, despite the drop in numbers I would not consider this a regression, as Mitchell hauled in 38 receptions for 354 yards and 2 touchdowns in a pass-first offense. This allowed him to open up his game a bit more, showcasing his skills as a rusher, pass catcher, and – colleges will love this – pass protector.
