Having started varsity as a freshman last year for an already super-competitive Somerville team, Dylan Boehm may seem like an obvious choice, and in some circles, a prospect we should skip due to his prior experience. However, I feel strongly that his performance and uptick in utilization warrants praise. Last year Boehm threw 10 touchdowns to 8 interceptions in 10 games. A year later through 4 games he has thrown 10 touchdowns to just 1 interception. Moreover, in just 80 more pass attempts he will have thrown more passes than all of last year and is about 500 yards off of last year’s total. With 5 games to go and a 3-1 record, expect Boehm and the Pioneers to have a big season now, and for the next two years.

A dual-threat Quarterback who has been clocked at 4.92 in the forty, Boehm wrapped up a storied youth career with Somerville-Branchburg United in Somerset County. During the 2024 season, he led the 13U Pioneers to the D2 Central Jersey Pop Warner Championship Game. Additionally possessing a strong arm on top of his speed, he’s also a stand out on the baseball diamond and has already had his fastball clocked at 83 mph.

Next up is Somerville star signal caller Dylan Boehm Dylan Boehm 5'11" | 170 lbs | QB Somerville | 2029 NJ . Boehm is a true field general at heart, showcasing deadly accuracy and impressive field vision for someone his age. Being a true field general is a skill that is becoming undervalued as more athletic QBs rise to prominence, but Boehm is a true blast from the past. Boehm thrives in classic three step or five step drops, able to quickly read defenses before firing a laser to whatever receiver finds themselves open. And when I say laser, I mean it, as Bohem has fantastic arm movement and strength, able to  effortlessly fire a perfect spiral, or a beautiful moon ball.
