While we really like the firepower the Rams bring back on the offensive side of the ball, the defense is also going to be strong with seven starters back from a unit that had four shutouts last season. The offense is going to be able to light up the scoreboard but they won’t have to outscore teams. Leading the way on the defensive unit is senior standout Mason Berg Mason Berg 6'0" | LB Regent Prep | 2024 OK at a variety of positions. He’s one of the stronger players on the team and whether he’s lined up near the line of scrimmage or if he’s moved back to the linebacker position, Berg has the ability to make a ton of plays. We also anticipate him taking a leadership role within the defense and helping lead this unit as they try to improve on what they accomplished last season.
