July Recruiting Report- Recent Commitments!

Blocton has great physicality, he consistently overpowers offensive linemen and disrupts plays in both rushing the passer and stopping the run- he can easily generate pressure and collapse the pocket makes him a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks, while having the strength and technique to shed blocks and make impactful tackles against the run as well. Blocton's combination of size and power enables him to control the line of scrimmage and dictate the flow of the game, making him a incredibly hard player to contain. Last fall was a big year for Blocton, he had a big season where he recorded 54 total tackles (32 solo, 1 for loss) and 6 sacks. In addition to that, Sanks is a reliable tackler who brings physicality and technique to his tackling, making him a terrific defender in open space.  All around as a cornerback, Sanks has a ton to offer- it doens't matter if he's in coverage, playing against the run, or lined up on the opposite side of the field- he's going to find a way to make plays. With his impressive speed Butler can quickly accelerate and break away from defenders, turning routine plays into big gains. His speed paired with his vision allows him to identify running lanes and make decisive cuts, maximizing yardage on every carry and protecting the ball all game long. Butler's agility and change of direction skills also make him elusive in the open field, making it challenging for defenders to bring him down- his ability to make quick cuts and navigate through traffic sets him apart as a highly elusive and dynamic runner. Last fall was Butler's best season yet- he ended up recording 1338 yards rushing and 16 touchdowns with 115 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns as well- constantly a threat to opposing defenses. Coleman has the ability to make some extremely difficult catches, he has strong hands, runs precise routes, and has some exceptional body control- all of which contribute greatly to his ability at WR. Coleman excels at stretching the field with his speed, he constantly is creating separation from defenders and providing a deep threat for his team. It doesn't matter where he is on the field though, Coleman's reliability as a target makes him a go-to option for quarterbacks as he consistently delivers in clutch situations. With his ability to read plays quickly and react with precision, Weaver consistently finds himself in position to make impactful tackles- his relentless pursuit of the ball allows him to cover a large area of the field and make plays from sideline to sideline. In addition to that,  Weaver has great technique and tackling abilities, he wraps up ball carriers effectively and brings them down with ease no matter who he's running up on. Weaver has been a super reliable LB the last few seasons, but last year was his best year yet- he posted up 77 total tackles (18 for loss), 3.5 sacks and 3 interceptions on the year.
