Arnaud is a 2025 QB who plays at Thayer Academy. He has verified height at 6’3.5″ and weight 195lbs. Dugas ran an impressive 4.71 40 yard dash, showcasing his ability to be mobile and escape the pocket. He showed the ability to make all the throws during 1 on 1’s. Not only did Arnaud shine with his arm strength and mobility, he showed great leadership qualities. He was consistently communicating with the WR’s to make sure everyone was on the same page. Arnaud is a QB who has all the tools needed to be a Division 1 prospect. I rated Dugas as the top QB in the PRZ New England showcase.

He just attended and performed at the Prep Redzone 7v7 Tournament in Pennsylvania, where he opened scouts eyes. He is a hardworking Quarterback who takes the leadership role seriously and will put in the work needed to become great.  I observed a few receivers complaining of the power in his throws and jokingly asked him to let up a little. He is a fast-processing QB who will go through his progressions each rep and flawlessy locate that open target.  He displays the ability to throw the Deep Out, Comeback, Dig, and Seam Route with minimal loft.  He has the ability to throw receivers open and execute the back shoulder throw.

Ranking Notes: “Dugas” was on our watch list before our ranking update. After viewing his 2023 season film, we have moved him up and ranked him as the # 10 Quarterback in the class of 2025 in New England. He is graded as a D1 prospect.

Strong arm, can make all the throws on the field. Shows a strong talent for reading defenses. Sees the field well. Very good at moving defenders with his eyes to free up his receivers.  Witnessed him go through his progressions to find open receivers flawlessly. It was very easy to see he carries the leadership quality that all quarterbacks need.  He will have an interesting Camp Season this summer.  Currently has interest from, Brown University, Holy Cross & BC.

Arnaud Dugas

A Canada transfer this season and new to the New England region. His name surfaced to my attention early pre-season from a Canadian coach and his Head Coach at Thayer Academy with a note that he has a big-time arm and is athletic. The Candian gunslinger had a solid 2023 reg-season and opened eyes around the NEPSAC circuit in New England.  He had 112 completions in 212 attempts for a total of 1515 passing yards with 6 interceptions in just 8 games.  I see him as a Pro-Style QB . Has good vision and a strong arm. He can throw the Deep Out, Comeback, Dig, and Seam Routes with no loft.  His frame is solid and lean at 6’4″. Has the proficient ability to throw receivers open and execute the back shoulder throw. His physical measurables align with Div -1 FBS power 5/ Div 1 High FCS Qb’s. His frame is solid and fits the part.
