who led the Skyhawks to one of their best seasons in school history and a 10-win season. Frye was named our Class AA Offensive Player of the Year after passing for nearly 3,500 yards and 41 touchdowns. The 6’1 180 three-year starter also rushed for almost 300 yards and 8 more scores showcasing his athletic abilities as a runner as well. Frye executed Scott’s spread offense perfectly and saw himself become one of the leading passers in West Virginia this season. He can make unconventional throws and make plays behind the line of scrimmage in and outside of the pocket. Frye looks very comfortable when chaos ensues around him which is the product of being a three-year starter with a ton of reps. He’s a gamer who can make routine plays or go off-script and create his own. Frye will make a college program very happy in the future.

and the high-flying Scott Skyhawks offense have been putting up monster offensive numbers all season. The 6’1 180 senior had 1,272 passing yards and 14 touchdown passes through the first four games of the season and although full game stats aren’t currently available from his 5th game, he had another 6 touchdowns in the game bringing his total to 24 on the season passing and rushing. Frye is a great commander of the Scott spread offense and he’s been orchestrating a high-powered and explosive offense all season. Frye and the Skyhawks are now 5-0 on the year and averaging 48 points per game through the first five games.

Frye is built similary to that of Murpy Clement, 5-foot-11 but is by no means small either. He’s built quite well and has the body build that can take hits. Dual-threat quarterback who has good athleticism with a sub-4.7 forty-yard dash. As a passer, the ball comes out of his hand quickly and smooth, he shows the abiltiy to throw the ball with anticipation and through tight windows. Arm strength is quality and has touch on his deep passes as well. Good at improvising and can extend plays quite well with the abiltiy to also throw on the one. Has multiple Divison II offers and more should be coming his way.
