I recently wrote about Fabian’s receiving ability, but I have been impressed with his defensive film. Be on the lookout for coaches in the region to recruit Fabian to play nickelback at the next level.

Fabian’s toughness, acceleration, and fluid change of direction projects him into an ideal nickelback prospect at the next level. Good awareness and tackling ability gets displayed when Fabian attacks receivers as an underneath zone defender. Good strength, instincts, and physicality allow Fabian to do more than be a third down pass defender in college.

Fabian has attended camps at Boise State and Southern Utah University this summer. Expect more schools in the region to recruit Fabian after he continues torching defenses this fall.

Fabian’s next level top gear shows gaining vertical separation from defenders in off man coverage. Fabian’s elusiveness and lateral quickness shown with the ball in his hands highlights his next level playmaking ability. Next level acceleration and fluid change of direction allow Fabian to separate when running any type of route as a slot receiver.
