With his ability to read plays quickly and react with precision, Weaver consistently finds himself in position to make impactful tackles- his relentless pursuit of the ball allows him to cover a large area of the field and make plays from sideline to sideline. In addition to that,  Weaver has great technique and tackling abilities, he wraps up ball carriers effectively and brings them down with ease no matter who he’s running up on. Weaver has been a super reliable LB the last few seasons, but last year was his best year yet- he posted up 77 total tackles (18 for loss), 3.5 sacks and 3 interceptions on the year. Every year Weaver has played at Andalusia he’s made an impact, but last fall may have been his best year yet. Last year, Weaver ended up recording 77 total (18 tackles for loss) 3.5 sacks, 3 interceptions. With his impressive speed and vision, Weaver flies all around the field to make plays. No matter where he starts off lined up, he’s going to figure out where the ball is going and what he needs to do to make a play. Weaver is also super versatile, his speed paired up with his ability to not only take down the ball carrier, but to make plays against the pass in coverage as well separates him from most. Weaver currently offers from Arkansas State, Coastal Carolina, and Southern Mississippi.

Last fall Weaver was near impossible for offenses to gameplan against, he made plays any and everywhere against the run and pass. To illustrate this better, on the season Weaver totaled up 83 tackles (8 tackles for loss), 3 sacks, 4 interceptions, 7 pass breakups, and 3 total defensive touchdowns. Weaver has unbelievable instincts and plays with maximum effort every play- it’s hard to find a play from him where he doesn’t know where he needs to be or where he isn’t playing at 100 mph. Weavers ability to play both on/off ball, cover, but also bring the heat with his tackling and pursuit is exactly why his recruitment has been opening up. With numbers and talent like that, it’s no wonder why teams have started reaching out to the talented linebacker- this past week he received an offer from UAB which added to the several he picked up in the month of March!
