He’d use his very good footwork to out maneuver the DB and get open. Bonner demonstrated good separation quickness as well. He’d use his athletic ability to get open, and use his good mental processing to identify zone voids and exploit. He would also use his physicality with the DB to get open. Natural catcher who uses his lengthy arms to pluck the ball out of the air. He’ll use his very good body control to adjust either above or below and come with the catch. After the catch, he’ll use his physicality and run through defenders. Bonner also was getting his hands dirty in the run blocking. He would use his size and strength to overpower DBs, creating lanes for the ball carrier. Bonner is a fantastic player, who I am excited to see him develop more as a WR these next couple of years.
